Frank Russo's Monsterfaces

Frank Russo is a Brooklyn Artist who has been drawing comic books since the age of nine. His art fuses a life-long love for trash culture and fast music with a wide variety of styles and media such as comics, paintings, toys, props and costumes.

In 2007, Frank Russo released a series of Collectable Art Trading cards called "Monsterfaces". Reminiscent of the "Garbage Pail Kids" of the 1980's, each card featured a "Monsterface" on the front and an original comic strip on the back. Now Russo is working on "Monsterfaces Series 2", and must therefore complete a whole new series of "Monsterfaces" paintings by the end of this year.

Each original "Monsterface" piece is a wooden cut out, painted with acrylic in bright psychedelic colors. These paintings will be available for purchase through Live Fast Underground Gallery for a limited time only... Be sure to get one while they're here, before the cards come out and they become highly sought after collectibles! Also available at Live Fast will be full color prints, as well as hand-printed Monsterfaces T-Shirts.
